Banquet Sales Executive | Pune | India

Job Description
To sell the banquet areas of the hotel and co-ordinate with the operations. Report on a regular basis the progress of sales activities. Help the accounts department realize outstanding banquet bills of guests. Maintain constant contact with regular clientele. Develop selling aids to make selling effective. Maintain guest history cards of past clientele so as to ensure repeat business. Take banquet bookings whenever necessary. Attend banquet functions especially of prestigious clients and co-ordinate the same to ensure its smooth functioning and develop rapport with the guests. Co-ordinate with the sales department, to get the leads of potential clients. Co-ordinate with the operations (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office) for smooth functioning. Possess thorough knowledge of banqueting and other services available in the Hotel. Report any health and safety hazards to the Banquets Manager. To carry out any other duties as and when directed by the superiors
